After medical school, he volunteered in the United States Air Force and was deployed to Kuwait and Iraq participating in Operation Desert Storm with the 49th Rescue Squadron. He also served with 7th and 20th Fighter Squadrons and has also worked with NASA's Space Shuttle. After his military service, Dr. Upadhyay trained in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at JFK-Johnson Medical Center and Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Jersey. He has years of experience as an Attending Physician and is fully board certified in his specialty. Dr. Upadhyay has admitting privileges at Memorial Hospital and York Hospital.
